And all the laws of the government apply equally to the people. Similarly we have some examples of democratic countries like America, Canada, the continent are included. All these nations have their own elections, and united political parties, and a free press. All these nations can choose their own leaders.
What is Authoritarianism?
On the other hand, authoritarianism is a system where power rests in the hands of a single leader or a small group. Citizens have little or no say in decision-making. Such as the government controlling the media, and not giving rights to those who should, suppressing the opposition. Laws are often applied unfairly, favoring those in power and not the opposition. China, Saudi Arabia etc. Leaders of all these nations rule for long periods of time and political opposition is either limited or eliminated.
Leadership:
A democracy is a system where the people are allowed to choose their own leaders. Where they are given open freedoms. And then, in most cases, there is rule by a single ruler or groups of rulers who make decisions autonomously.
Freedom of Speech:
In a democracy, people can criticize their government and ask them for their rights and justice. And in the same way, such criticisms in the nobles and governments lead to punishment.
Decision-Making:
In a democracy, people’s decisions are made with public participation, whereas in a democracy. The leadership makes decisions without public opinion.
Laws and Justice:
Democracies have fair laws that apply to everyone, whereas in authoritarian states, laws often favor those in power.
Media Control:
In democracies, social media enjoys all kinds of freedom, while elites and governments take control of the media and spread propaganda.
Which System is better?
Intelligent people value democracy because it has freedom, justice and equal laws for all citizens. It allows for economic and social development at the same time, creating institutions to protect people within the country. Such as hospitals, universities, police stations, courts where people can express their views and choose their leaders. However, this democracy can sometimes slow down decision-making due to debate.
Amrit makes its own decisions, in which human rights violations are debated. In this, it does not take opinions from the people. It violates people. Corruption is common. And some Amrit governments claim to bring stability but do not do it. In the same way they suppress the opposition and suppress freedom.
